James T. Olsen

Mr. Olsen is the Founder & Managing Partner of Concord and a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee.

Mr. Olsen has 23 years of experience in healthcare investment banking and investment advisory services. Prior to founding Concord, Mr. Olsen was Managing Director & Group Head of Not-for-Profit Healthcare Investment Banking at Jefferies. Previously he also served as Managing Director & Head of Not-for-Profit Healthcare Mergers & Acquisitions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he began his career in 1996.

Mr. Olsen has executed over $25 billion in healthcare transactions with experience across a broad spectrum of healthcare subsectors. Mr. Olsen has advised many leading healthcare companies on complex capital markets strategies, M&A transactions and innovative strategic partnership models between and among not-for-profits, for-profits and financial sponsors.

Mr. Olsen received a B.S. in Physics from Loyola University Maryland and a M.S. in Physiology from the University of Maryland Graduate Program at the School of Medicine.
